Jubilee Hall kitchen improvements
A badly needed update has been made to the Alveston Jubilee Hall kitchen. As well as providing a makeover, the new kitchen provides extra cupboard space, a much larger sink with an improved hot water supply, and a lowered serving hatch. It has also been re-tiled to give a lighter look.
The kitchen improvements were undertaken over the 2011 Christmas break by a local kitchen installer, MG Kitchens.
The Alveston Jubilee Hall Management Committee is pleased to acknowledge part funding by the Big Lottery Fund for this work.
A major update the central heating system, using condensing boilers to replace a 50 year old boiler, was completed in August 2011. This now provides significantly improved heating.
The interior of the Jubilee Hall was completely redecorated in 2012. The walls are now magnolia with a lighter shade of grey at low level.
