As well as the original Norman Castle, there's a tropical Butterfly House to explore, a picnic area in the Walled Garden for al fresco dining, the Yurt Restaurant serving light lunches and home made cakes and acres of terraced gardens to soak up the sunshine or let off steam.
From have-a-go archery to medieval jesters, storytelling and arts & crafts, Berkeley Castle has plenty to keep adults and children entertained throughout the summer holidays, and almost all children's activities are INCLUDED with the Castle entrance fee. There is a small charge for Knight School, face-painting and Unicorn Rides.
The Castle is open Sunday-Wednesday from 10.30am until 5pm.
