Orchard Harvest Day

Winterbourne Medieval Barn

11am – 4pm

Visit this wonderful medieval barn, which dates from the 1340s and marvel at the skill of medieval builders. Watch traditional cider-making demonstrations using a Victorian stone apple mill and 200 year old wooden press - and taste the results! This popular annual event has now become a main feature of the regional calendar. Something for all the family.

We will celebrate the Great British Orchard and 'all things apple'. Plus local artisan and rural crafts, Ferret-racing, skittles, llamas, geese, apple bobbing and a variety of children’s activities and games to choose from. An amazing variety of song, dance, and delicious locally-sourced food and drink, including Haythorne cider made at the Barn available throughout the day. A wonderful day out for all ages.

Assistance and well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. Dogs remain the responsibility of the owner within the grounds of the Barn.

Entry just £3 for adults, children under 16yrs are FREE. Purchase tickets on entry.
